Director of Music Ministry

St. Philip’s is pleased to have an adult choir of capable singers who give musical leadership to the church’s worship. We include a range of musical styles in our Anthems that reflect a spectrum of joyful praise, lamentation, exhortation, and ordinary living.

We are always eager to welcome new singers. We invite you to consider joining your musical gifts with ours in worship. We practice on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. We don’t expect 100% attendance but look for your presence when you are able to come.

This group meets on Sunday morning following the 10:30 a.m. service for 30 minutes and is for children ages 8 and up and their families. Participants will learn to play the tone chimes, to read music, and how to produce ensemble music.

Joyful Noise*

This 45 minute weekly program for ages 3-5 provides the best musical learning experience for young children in our community. Through the joy of music and age-appropriate activities, this developmental program allows each child to develop a life-long love of music and encourages creative worship to our Saviour.

High Spirits*

This 1 hour weekly program is for children in grades 1-5 and is a drama focused group. Children will learn to express themselves and their faith in Jesus through such creative means as dance, speech, and music.

Shooting Stars*

This 1 hour weekly program is for students in grades 6-12 and is a drama focused group.  Students will learn to express themselves an their faith in Jesus through choreography, speaking roles, and dramatic improvisation
